The White Earth Nation in Minnesota has reduced its proposed casino land-trust request from nearly 300 acres to 80 following concerns about drinking water, traffic, infrastructure costs, and property taxes. Tribal representatives say a decision could come by late 2028 under the most favourable circumstances.
