Hasan Piker’s mother, Ülker Sedef Piker, is an art and architectural historian with degrees from Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. A recent New York Post report claimed Hasan transferred from the University of Miami to Rutgers after earning a 2.9 GPA. Hasan has often praised his mother, calling her a major source of inspiration.
