US special envoy Sergio Gor will visit Bangladesh on July 30. He will meet Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the foreign minister. This visit follows Prime Minister Rahman’s recent tour of China. The US seeks understanding of Bangladesh’s foreign policy priorities. Washington remains concerned over China’s economic corridor proposal.
