Avellanosa de Muño will host Spain’s first total solar eclipse since 1912. Daylight will briefly disappear as the Moon covers the Sun near sunset. This event offers a unique viewing experience unlike a midday eclipse. Later that night, the Perseid meteor shower will also be visible. The village’s rural setting provides ideal conditions for astronomical observation.
