In Kaiwaka, New Zealand, a bus driver discovered a two-year-old girl inside a suitcase in the luggage compartment during a routine stop. The child, found to be very hot but physically unharmed, was taken to a hospital for evaluation. A 27-year-old woman has been charged with ill-treatment/neglect in connection with the incident and is scheduled to appear in court.
