Thailand and Cambodia have extended their ceasefire agreement after deadly border clashes last month, which resulted in numerous casualties and displacement. Signed by defense officials, the agreement pledges to halt troop movements and armed hostilities. Brokered by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, the truce aims to de-escalate tensions along the disputed border.
