A 640-acre farmland donation made to a Texas school district in 1984 has become a source of college scholarships for hundreds of students. Local farmers in Gruver volunteer their labour and equipment to grow crops, generating approximately $400,000 annually. Since 2016, the initiative has distributed nearly $3 million to around 300 students, helping them pursue higher education.
