Zhang Yin launched her paper-trading venture in Hong Kong in 1985 with a simple investment strategy. Spotting a lucrative market in collecting waste paper from the United States to ship to China, she founded America Chung Nam, eventually becoming the top exporter of this recyclable material. Expanding further, she created Nine Dragons Paper, seeing tremendous growth in China’s booming economy.
