San Antonio’s former Air Force base expands after creating 3,000 jobs

 San Antonio’s Brooks Development Authority is expanding beyond the former 1,308-acre Air Force base it has redeveloped since 2002. It will take control of 243 vacant acres along Southton Road and prepare the site with roads and utilities.
