A Rhode Island federal judge has ordered the revival of the $7 billion Solar for All program after the Trump administration’s EPA canceled it in August 2025. Judge Mary S. McElroy ruled the agency overstepped its authority in terminating the Biden-era initiative, which aimed to expand solar access for low-income households nationwide.
