The Benham-Belz House, the oldest surviving house in Reno, was relocated to preserve its legacy. Originally built in 1868, the house has a rich history that reflects Reno’s development. It was sold for $1 under the condition that it be moved and restored. The relocation occurred in July 2025, marking the end of its 150-year presence on the original site.
