Modern societies often equate busyness with achievement and productivity. This perspective contrasts with ancient Greek philosophy which valued leisure for thought. Constant activity can reduce concentration and hinder learning and creativity. Meaningful experiences require time for reflection and appreciation of what matters. A life rich in meaning is not necessarily the busiest one.
