Figures from the Centre for Research and Security Studies show that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was Pakistan’s worst-hit region for violence in the third quarter of 2025. It recorded 638 violence-related deaths, accounting for nearly 71 per cent of the national total, along with 221 violent incidents, or more than 67 per cent of the total.
