Moscow’s four international airports faced temporary closures on Sunday as air defence systems downed 11 Ukrainian drones approaching the capital. Mayor Sergey Sobyanin confirmed the interceptions, while Russia’s civil aviation authority cited safety concerns for the flight suspensions. This comes amid ongoing cross-border drone and missile attacks between Russia and Ukraine, now in its fourth year.
