Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has asserted that the Strait of Hormuz will stay closed until the United States changes its course of action. This comes on the heels of the US conducting new strikes near the Strait and reinstating a naval blockade. Iran has also announced attacks on US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, exacerbating regional tensions after a recently collapsed truce.
