Kuwait’s deployment of mobile radar speed cameras, known as “Rasid” units, has dramatically improved road safety. Speeding and red-light violations significantly decreased in early 2025, preceding stricter traffic laws. Following the law’s enactment, traffic violations plummeted, fatalities declined, and a cultural shift towards safer driving habits emerged due to enhanced enforcement and penalties.
