An 85-year-old Rochford man is facing the threat of legal action after being ordered to remove a £2,200 block-paved driveway he built on a grass verge outside his home. David Siggins, who uses two crutches and has COPD, says he was given permission to build it but has now been told the land belongs to Rochford Council.
