A unique art installation in Brooklyn offers a place for visitors to anonymously share their deepest secrets. French artist Sophie Calle created a marble obelisk where people can deposit written confessions. This project, which began in 2017, will continue until the year 2042. Secrets deposited will be exhumed and cremated in a ceremonial service periodically. The installation provides a moment of catharsis and a chance for reflective unburdening.
