The ‘Visarjan Se Vidya Tak’ project creatively transforms discarded Ganesha idols into functional furniture, such as study tables for educational institutions. Spearheaded by Malhar Kaalambe and Dr. Binish Desai, the initiative has already repurposed 3,000 kg of Plaster of Paris into essential school furniture. By 2026, they aim to increase their output to 5,000 tables and additional educational resources, promoting sustainability while improving learning environments.
