A French mother and her five children have been dramatically rescued from a decade of alleged captivity and abuse in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Sylvie Yasmina, who claims her husband ‘effectively imprisoned’ them after moving from Australia in 2014, was found with visible injuries. Her son’s brave escape to a police station led to the family’s liberation and her expressed desire to return to France.
