An Egyptian archaeological mission has uncovered three tombs at the Sheikh Sobi site. These burials include mummies and sarcophagi from the Late and Roman periods. One tomb contained five mummies, dating to the Late Period. The other two tombs are believed to be from the Roman period. These discoveries offer insights into the Bahariya Oasis’s ancient communities.
