In the wake of Dolly Parton’s passing, the Imagination Library saw a remarkable increase in registrations. In August alone, Knox County welcomed nearly 950 new children to the program. Additionally, over $150,000 was generated through a fundraising initiative to bolster the library’s mission. Established in 1995, this program ensures that young readers receive free books every month until the age of five, proudly distributing over four million books to date.
