Kamal Haasan urged constitutional authorities to allow Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) to prove its majority, stating that not inviting the single largest party to form the government would disrespect the people’s mandate. He emphasized that majority must be proven on the floor of the House, not in Raj Bhavan.
