Carpet python grabs kookaburra from Queensland roof; bird survives

 A kookaburra escaped death after snake catchers in Queensland rescued it from the grip of a carpet python hanging from the roof of a house. The bird appeared lifeless at first but recovered within minutes, began squawking and flew into nearby bushland.
