In a bid to protect the Clover Valley nature preserve, Placer Land Trust has initiated a lawsuit to block infrastructure development attempts. Established four years ago, this cherished area has faced housing pressures in the past. It comprises ancient oak forests, wetlands, and vital archaeological sites. The conservation easement was created to enforce permanent protection, and the legal proceedings will reinforce this against any existing development rights.
