Atlanta turned a 7,000-pound Colorado turbine blade into a 50-foot bridge at Beaverbrook Park

In a remarkable display of innovation, a retired wind turbine blade has been repurposed into a pedestrian bridge at Beaverbrook Park in Atlanta. This 15-meter structure, weighing around 7,000 pounds, was transported from Colorado and creatively adapted by researchers to fulfill the role of public infrastructure. This pioneering project marks the first instance of its kind in the United States, building upon the Re-Wind Network’s prior endeavors.
