Former Bangladesh army Major Muzaffar Hossain has been arrested after forty-five years. He is allegedly a mastermind and assassin of President Ziaur Rahman. The arrest occurred in Dhaka’s Banani DOHS area late Wednesday night. Hossain was reportedly handed over to the Bangladesh army for court martial. This marks a significant breakthrough for the current Tarique-led BNP government.
