TMC leader Kalyan Banerjee alleged he was attacked by BJP workers near Chanditala Police Station in West Bengal’s Hooghly district while submitting a deputation on post-poll violence. Banerjee claimed he was hit on the head with a stone and accused the police of inaction, calling it an attempt to murder.
