A Georgia appeals court has recently vacated a default judgment related to a home construction issue between Juan Ramirez and Big Sky Remodel. The court identified that the initial trial court lacked adequate jurisdiction over Big Sky owing to service failures. Moreover, it ruled that damages were wrongly awarded to Ramirez prior to settling any questions of joint liability.
