An Indian man was allegedly stabbed fifteen times inside a Utah shopping mall. The suspect reportedly asked the victim his religion before the violent assault occurred. Authorities arrested the suspect on suspicion of attempted murder and carrying a dangerous weapon. The victim underwent surgery after being transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Indian consulate is in close contact with the victim’s family and local authorities.
