A CNN Turk reporting team was detained by Israeli security forces during a live broadcast from Tel Aviv following an Iranian missile strike. Correspondent Emrah Çakmak and cameraman Halil Kahraman were taken into custody outside the Ministry of Defense, with the live feed abruptly cut. Türkiye has launched diplomatic efforts, calling the incident an “attack on the press.”
