The Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3) opened on 5 August 2025 in Awaza, Turkmenistan, uniting leaders to address the unique challenges of 32 landlocked nations. With the launch of the Awaza Programme of Action (2024–2034), the conference aims to boost sustainable development through regional partnerships, infrastructure investment, trade facilitation, and climate resilience strategies.
