South Korea’s acting president, Han Duck-soo, was impeached by lawmakers amid political turmoil after the martial law declaration by suspended President Yoon Suk Yeol. The impeachment motion was passed due to Han’s refusal to complete Yoon’s impeachment process and approve Constitutional Court judges.
