A family in Iowa has donated 3.53 acres of land to Buena Vista County to create Massop Legacy Park. This new public space aims to provide future generations with access to nature and preserve local wildlife habitats. Conservation efforts will focus on enhancing native vegetation and improving water quality along Owl Lake Creek. The park is envisioned to eventually connect with a larger recreational network around Storm Lake.
