Career not ending! 44-yo Anderson to play in Italy after Lancashire exit

James Anderson will continue his cricket career in Italy after Lancashire declined to renew his contract. The 44-year-old will captain and co-own a Naples-based team in a 10-over tournament starting November 18. The competition will feature international stars and promote Italian cricket through coaching clinics, supporting the country’s ambitions to develop players for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. James Anderson will continue his cricket career in Italy after Lancashire declined to renew his contract.
