US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order directing federal agencies to rename Lake Ontario as “Lake America” on US maps, documents and databases. Canada has rejected the move, while several US governors have also said they will continue calling it Lake Ontario. The decision comes amid rising trade tensions between Washington and Ottawa.
