After a local retailer slashed community biking programs, a Georgia teenager took action by founding Pedal Forward. This initiative has successfully raised over thirty thousand dollars, providing four hundred bicycles to children in need. Hundreds have benefited from free cycling skills clinics, and the organization’s reach is expanding into Tennessee and New York. Now, Pedal Forward is setting its sights internationally, planning humanitarian efforts in Vietnam.
