A chlorine gas leak from an abandoned tank at a defunct water purification plant in Pune’s Kondhwa area on Thursday morning led to 24 people being hospitalized. Residents and two fire personnel complained of breathlessness after the gas spread. All affected individuals are reported to be out of danger and under observation.
