Expats in Saudi Arabia working self-employed were reminded to comply with residency, labour, and border laws. Non-compliance can result in fines up to 50,000 riyals, six months’ imprisonment, and deportation. On January 12, the Ministry of Interior reminded the public of these rules and explained how breaches can be reported confidentially via 911 (major regions) or 999 (other areas)
