Kuwait will observe six public holidays in January 2026, covering both the New Year and the religious occasion of Isra and Mi’raj. The New Year break runs from January 1 to 3, while Isra and Mi’raj falls on January 16, extending the holiday through January 18. Work resumes on January 4 and January 19, providing extended weekends for residents.
