A Florida jury instructed Tesla to pay $243 million to the family of Naibel Benavides Leon. She died in a 2019 crash involving a Tesla Model S with Autopilot. The jury found Tesla 33% responsible for the accident. The Autopilot system failed to detect a parked vehicle. George McGee, the driver, was distracted.
